It’s no joke! It really was Arduino Day on 1st April 2017, so we opened up Make-Create to celebrate and pay homage to the world’s favourite electronics platform.
We had a fun filled day from 11am to 4pm. Throughout the day we showed off some of our Arduino based projects. People also brought their own Arduino projects to share.
The event was presented by Make-Create at our lab:
Make-Create and our partners for the event, GeoWANTM threw on a BBQ to make sure everyone was well fed. We demonstrated how to connect Arduino based projects to real IoT networks, using a range of wireless technologies including WiFi, The Things Network and LoRaWANTM. GeoWANTM brought along some Arduino compatible LoRaWANTM boards and Arduino shields to tinker with.
We also ran our very popular Introduction to Arduino workshop. The hands-on workshop gave participants and opportunity to learn how to program their very own Arduino.
If you’d like to sign up for the workshop next time we run it, check out the courses page.
